Little Red Ridding Hood Shoot

A well known model, radio and TV host Miss. Robbin Reay was the perfect match for this photo shoot based on the story of Little Red ridding hood. I got the chance to use a dog from a college photographer, the dog was very cooperative and the perfect size for my big bad wolf, although she looked very friendly in most of the photos, I captured one of  both together where Sighani looks like she is growling at me and ready to attack (she was actually enjoying a treat). Her size and look made the shot, Little red ridding hood in the back totally owning the pose, as a path of darkness frames the scene. It was a lot of fun!

From Stories Series 1…Alice

It’s been a while since I don’t do photos for me, so I came up with the idea of doing recreations of moments from my favorite stories, making them a today version of them. I did a casting call for a TFP model. It was a no brainner when Brittany Davidson contacted me saying she would be the perfect Alice, she was right! She is a beautiful 18 year old aspiring model, I was so happy with her and she even had some input on the shoot as on the wardrobe. I will be working again with her for sure.  I’m very happy with the outcome of the session and it only got me exited about the ones to come!!  Next one is gonna be the princess and the frog and I just can’t wait!

Fall mini session

Back in Ross and Dana’s wedding I met Armi and her husband, they run a fun photo-booth business (vibe photo-booth), They are very nice people and we exchanged cards, They were interested in my mini fall sessions promo I offered on the Facebook page. What a nice evening! the session went fast and their girls so cute! the small one kept saying hello to me 🙂 and the older one Alice, she is a beauty, always love working with kids and remind me so much of mine… Afterwards I myself enjoined a beautiful fall walk with my family.

Family photos

I had the chance to photograph a lovely family, they wanted to have semi formal photos for them to use for Christmas cards, It all revolved around the beautiful grandma, coming directly from India, wearing her typical Indian dress. I loved the expression on the eyes of the kids! specially the little girl, shy and happy bright eyes. They loved their pictures as much as I did. Thanks so much Anuj and Family!! this session at the Royal Museum of Alberta was a complete success!

Ross and Dana’s Wedding

Ross and Dana are a fun couple! Their background is so mixed, and I happened to loved them because they met and fell in love in Mexico!. I always celebrate love and when those special moments are linked to a special place, well that makes it super special!!  Dana was a lovely bride; her ink art complemented perfectly the hairdo and the dress. Ross and his best buddies were wearing black converse sneakers and bright green ties. The wedding took place at the gazebo outside the Royal Museum of Alberta, I’m pretty sure their wedding day was the warmest day we had in the whole year. People came from Italy (the cutest Italian grandpa danced with the bride!) Scotland, and even South Africa.  I absolutely loved the way pictures turned out, so natural and colorful, and I’m happy to say I gained two new friends, than you guys!
