Natalie and Kelly’s Wedding

Since I met Natalie by the phone I noticed she was a very laid back bride, when we met in person I confirmed my suspicions, if there is an opposite of a “Bridezilla” she would be it!  She was very open to ideas and we had an instant connection.

After a few missed turns despite the use of our GPS finally I made it on time to the wedding taking place in the Hastings Lake gardens, east of Sherwood Park. The bride was getting ready in a little room and looking gorgeous. I met the bridal party and family members, all very relaxed and happy.  The ceremony was very intimate and small. I shot away to the poems of Khalil Gibran and couldn’t avoid taking a glance at the couple and smile at them just like the rest of the guests at the reception.

We started shooting the formals with family and bridal party, everyone was a pleasure to work with, but I have to say, the best man and groomsmen stole the lens with those James bond inspired poses, we had so much fun. The couple was simple enough to sit on the grass and walk in the woods, not minding spring bugs trying to take a ride on the wedding gown. It was such a fun experience, I didn’t even notice the time and we were done real fast.

Natalie and Kelly: I wish you many more years of happiness and fun together, thank you for trusting me with the responsibility of taking your pictures, I hope you like them as much as I did.
